2.1.6.4 Cockpit Voice Recorder Data

Cockpit voice recorder data may not be used for purpose other than for the investigation of an
accident or incident.
Refer to Ch 11 for data protection requirements.

2.1.6.5 Flight Operations Records

All records shall be clearly marked for identification of type of record and if applicable by name of
personnel.
Records shall be clear and legible.
Flight crew records of certification, qualification and training shall be maintained in hard copy in a
secure lock-up facility in Flight Operations, with limited and restricted secure access.
Records relating to operational control of flights shall be maintained in hard copy, initially at Flight
Operations, then transferred to archive after a minimum of one month.
Documents not required to be retained in permanent archive shall be destroyed at the conclusion of
the retention period.

2.1.6.6 Document Storage Period
