Lesson 22 : They didn’t like it.

Pasado simple forma negativa e interrogativa.

Objetivo: Establecer y analizar la estructura gramatical correcta para hacer


oraciones negativas e interrogativas en el pasado simple, teniendo en cuenta el
auxiliar “Did” y la negación “Not”.
Pasado simple: Oraciones negativas
En pasado simple, hacer oraciones negativas es muy fácil ya que con todas las personas gramaticales se emplea el
mismo verbo auxiliar: “DID”.

Contracciones
Podemos contraer el auxiliar did con el not y quedaría didn’t

Oraciones Negativas
Es importante que recordemos que el verbo de la oración se coloca en forma base, es decir, no es necesario conjugarlo en
pasado.
SUJETO + DID NOT + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO

I did not do the homework.

Yo no hice la tarea.
She did not eat Last night.
Ella no comió anoche.
You did not drink Water.
Ustedes no bebieron agua.

Mi tía no vino temprano.

Pasado simple – Forma interrogativa
Recordemos que hay dos maneras para hacer las respuestas en inglés:

Para hacer preguntas en pasado simple, se inicia con el auxiliar “DID”.


Auxiliar + Sujeto + Verbo + Complemento?
Según el tiempo En forma base

 ¿Antonio llegó temprano anoche?


Did Anthony arrive early last night?
 ¿Usted cerró la puerta de la casa esta mañana?
Did you close the house’s door this morning?
 ¿Carlos fue al cine con su novia el mes pasado?
Did Carlos go to the movies with his girlfriend last month?
 ¿Ustedes estudiaron e hicieron la tarea de inglés?

Pasado simple: Respuestas formas larga y corta
Recordemos que hay dos maneras para hacer las respuestas en inglés:

Forma larga: Forma corta:


Para esta se emplea el sujeto y el auxiliar si
