Resourceful and forward-thinking leader providing more than 20 years of hands-on technical experience in all facets of wireless & non
wireless telecommunications, from project planning, Program setup, engineering to operations. Offer track record of developing and
implementing systems and network solutions that drive efficiency, ROI, cost reductions, and productivity, often exceeding expectations
and goals. Decisive strategist recognized for consistently overseeing complex projects to on-time and under-budget completion. Expertly
anticipate and address mission-critical issues. Known for conveying “truth on the ground” regarding network status and functionality,
ensuring reliable, high-availability infrastructures, along with maintaining adherence to wireless best practices. Understanding of

Providing leadership on Program-Project Planning for, Next Generation Network (NGN) for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint with Evolved Packet
Core (EPC), cell site acquisition and construction for large venues with high capacity of traffic in small areas. Small cell integration, testing
of antenna systems, DAS system design and integration, site walks with many vendors, providing guidance with respect to safety
compliance.
Small Cell work in NY, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas – AT&T & Verizon T-Mobile
As Chief technology officer developed program - project planning and implemented a training program to train veterans in cell site
construction with numerous vendors which the clients needed installed. Worked directly with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to
achieve approval of all of the class room studies. The training program is approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Produced
32 different class room training sessions where the student would get certified that he or she was experienced in the many tasks needed
to complete the build of cell sites. Have hired 88 veterans and placed them in long term employment. Developed processes so the
veterans could use the GI Bill to ensure they could receive the stipend offered by the Veterans Association.
Provided guidance and planning on warehouse procedures to “rack and stack” hardware where we achieved 8 hrs. less in the overall
project for augmenting cell site hardware. Providing a saving of 16 man hours in the field install saving ~ $1000.00 per site build
Developed, planed and delivered practical design of Next Generation Network (NGN) and Evolved Packet Core (EPC)
implementation plan, system expansion to wireless networks by planning the means of test and turn-up of multiple technologies
on conventional and shared antenna systems.
Conducted in-depth validation of antenna system performance.
Managed E911 compliance.
Oversaw deployment teams comprised of RF, fixed network, real estate, and construction personnel by planning all activities.
Planned a network and managed 139-site build of multiple RF technologies, including CDMA IS95, 1xRTT and EvDO, GSM,
Edge, 850MHz and 1900MHz, and AMPS/TDMA.
Conducted fixed network engineering, including FCC part 101 and FCC part 15.
Played key role on team charged with project management and tracking of all hardware as well as ordering of shelter, towers,
and installation of RAN hardware.
Prior to 2000:
Lead role on team tasked with project and network planning, managing and tracking all hardware, along with ordering shelter,
towers, and installation of RAN hardware.
Burst Wireless (Monet Mobile): Designed and deployed trial CDMA 1xRTT and EvDO with early Next Generation Network
(NGN) and Evolved Packet Core (EPC) network hard/w in Port Angeles, Washington; created and built specialized cell-on-
wheels and switch-on-wheels for trial system implementation.
Metricom: Established budget and project plan for turn up of 275-cell site data network in Chicago, Illinois area; directed
deployment team comprised of 63 RF, real estate, and construction personnel.
Advanced Radio Telecom (ART): Championed implementation of 1st trial system in San Jose, California (100mbps of self-
healing wireless Ethernet WAN); developed implementation process documentation for nationwide rollout.
Directed team of 25 personnel in planning, development and implementation of network quality assurance.
Designed and deployed practices and procedures for network management across Lucent and Ericsson platforms.
Instituted a radio network for empirical validation of best practices.
Conducted intersystem inner-network handoffs/super-roaming, ensuring cross-platform and cross-vendor network
interoperability.
Drove interoperability between Lucent 1900MHz and Ericsson 800MHz, Ericsson 1900MHz and Lucent 800MHz, NTI 1900MHz
and Ericsson 800MHz, and all functions with US-41D
Worked on team developing first industry signaling standards such as SS7, SIP, H.248, H.323 Media Gateway Control Protocol
MGCP.
CAREER NOTE: Also previously served as Senior Engineer at other various McCaw Communications/AT&T Wireless Services locations
as well as Engineer at US West Cellular, Colorado Car Telephone, Inc. and Motorola.
