This Image was shot on a Nikon D3200 with an f-stop of f/8 taken at an exposure of 1/250
seconds. The image was taken with an ISO speed of ISO-100. It has a focal length of
45mm and an aperture of 4.5.
I opened my image in Photoshop. The first edit I made was to decrease the exposure
because it was too bright in some places. Then I went in and increased the contrast so the
rings of the boombox were more evident. The next thing I did was to color balanced the
flowers since some were more vibrant then others. I reduced the saturation for the pink
and magenta colors and made the yellows brighter. After that I went in and used the blur
tool to blur out some of the sharper edges at the bottom of the photo to finish it off.
This image fits the prompt, The Battle Between Nature Vs. Technology, because It
showcases that nature grows through technology. Through the years technology has
evolved, and so has nature. This photo showcases that even though they have both
evolved, that they will always continue to grow together. In this photo nature is represented
through the flowers that are growing through the boombox. Technology is represented in
this photo through the boombox with its cassette tapes.

This image was shot on a Nikon D3200 with a macro lens on a tri-pod using a remote
in order to keep the shot steady, with an F-Stop of f/5 taken with an exposure of ½
seconds. The image was taken with an ISO speed of ISO-400, with a focal length of
40mm and an aperture of 3.1.
The first thing I did was import this photo into Photoshop. To start off, I used the eraser
tool with a feathered eraser. I then generated a black background to match the original
image. Inconsistencies and unwanted areas were erased. I then went in and increased
the exposure to brighten the cassette tapes to be more visible. After that, I went in and
increased the saturation and vibrancy to make the color of the flame more blue and
pink. After that I went in and increased the contrast to finish up my edits.
This photo fits the prompt, The Battle Between Nature Vs. Technology because it
showcases how strong both nature and technology are. In this photo the rose is on fire,
spreading to the cassette tapes. In my mind the photo represents that both nature and
technology are strong by themselves, but together they can’t be “burned”. The nature is
showcased in this photo through the rose. The technology is represented through the
cassette tapes.

This image was taken on a Nikon D7000 with an F-Stop of f/20 taken at an exposure of
1/1600 seconds. The image was taken with an ISO speed of ISO/3200 with a focal length
of 25mm and an aperture of 4.
The first thing I did with this photo was decrease the exposure since it was slightly over-
exposed in some areas. After that I went in and increased the contrast so you could see
the lines of the bushes better. The next thing I did was to add the black and white filter,
making colors such as blue, red, and yellow darker in order to create more of a pop so my
photo wouldn’t become flat. To finish it off I went in once again to fix the exposure, by
increasing it a little, and the contrast by decreasing it a little.
This image fits the prompt, The Battle Between Nature Vs. Technology because it
represents how nature will always continue to grow around technology, when technology
fails to grow. In this photo it is representing how humans can abandon technology, but
nature will claim it as its own by growing around it. The nature in this photo is represented
through the brush that is growing and the snow on the ground. The technology is
represented through the old car.

This photo was taken on a Nikon D7000 with an F-Stop of f/20 taken at an exposure of
1/1600 seconds. The image was taken with an ISO Speed of ISO/3200 with a focal length
of 35mm and an aperture of 4.2.
After importing the photo into Photoshop, I went in and increased the contrast so that the
bushes would appear darker. Next, I went in and corrected the spots that had
discoloration, such as some spots on the washer and dryer that appeared darker than
others due to the reflection. After that, I went in and decreased the saturation before I
converted it to black and white. After that, I converted it to black and white making colors
such as red and blue darker than colors such as yellow and green.
This image fits the prompt, The Battle Between Nature Vs. Technology because it
showcases how technology evolves and abandons old technology, but the nature will
always accept it. This photo to me represents that as things grow, we will abandon the
things we don’t want anymore, but nature will always take care of it when we aren’t there
for it. The nature in this photo is showcased through the shrub and bushes. The
technology is showcased through the old washer and dryer that were abandoned.

This image was taken on a Nikon D3200 with an F-Stop of f/9 taken with an exposure of
1/320 seconds. This image was taken with an ISO Speed of ISO/100 with a focal length
of 34mm and an aperture of 4.2.
After importing the phot into Photoshop, the first thing I did was to create a copy layer of
my background layer. After that, I began editing my second layer. Converting it to black
and white, making colors such as the blue and red darker. The next thing I did was to
use the eraser tool on the second layer to outline the excavator so that it would appear
as color. Then, I went into my color layer and lowered the vibrancy and saturation so
that the white spots would not appear blue. Then I went in and adjusted the color
balance so that reds and oranges would appear more evident than others.
This photo fits the prompt, The Battle Between Nature Vs. Technology because it
showcases how technology is growing through construction, but nature will always
shine through and find its way. To me this photo is about how technology is attempting
to override nature through construction, but the nature is still standing strong
showcasing that it will never leave. The nature is showcased in this photo through the
tree. The technology is showcased through the bull dowser.
