VISION

The Bachelor of Special Education envision an institution of higher learning, professional in

scope, community – centered, committed to prepare specialist education, professionals with

transferrable skills. The special education is designed to meet the career goals of a diverse

population inclusive of youth, adult and professional learners.

MISSION

The program shall provide special instruction for special purposes and promote standards of

excellence in special education research and practices in order to foster exceptional teaching to

the students with special needs.

GOALS

The program ensures the empowerment and global competitiveness of the graduates through:

1. To equip students with skills, knowledge and values to enable them to meet the needs of

the community they belong.

2. To develop teachers who can provide service and care for students with special needs.

3. To provide professional education to develop students’ skills in the application of

teaching methods and techniques for efficient and effective delivery of teaching.
