the purchaser. Sorne types of castings have been known to
show potential problems with predisposition to being em-
brittled during the normal thermal cycle of hot-clip _ualvanizing.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to heat treat or
otherwise allorv for the possibility of such ernbrittling phenorn-
ena. The requirements for malleable iron castings to be
