Observed Strengths: Areas in which further development is needed:

 Engaging the students by having visual aids.
 Decompose – explaining what the term means.
 Getting students attention and making sure they
are listening to instructions.
 Explained instructions well for the first activity.
 Students are engaged with the interactive
activity.
 Divided into groups and had to organize the items
into different labeled boxes.
 Thinks of creative ideas to help students
understand concepts better.
 Created a visual example which helped students
understand the activity better.
 Students could give feedback on what they
thought sustainable means.
 Takes time to make resources that are engaging.
 Establish clear guidelines and discipline structures with the
students before you start a lesson.
 Explain in many different ways what is expected with the
activity and differentiate by stating that some students can do
this and other students can extend themselves by trying to
decode word.
 Give students clear guidelines when researching on the
Internet. Give something for them to put into a URL to assist
them.
 Focus on one concept and do activities around the concept
than doing to many concepts in one lesson.
 Formulate a definition of concepts with the help of the
students, guiding them to the correct answer.
 Being aware of time constraints when teaching. Make time
for consolidation and giving feedback to students.
 Students enjoy immediate feedback.

General Comments:
Lessons need to focus around lesson objectives and success criteria. Determine a goal you want to achieve, not only for yourself,
but for the students – They need to feel they have accomplished something themselves.
