The history of Al.Jouf province goes back more than 
four thousand years.

The area is one of the most important grazing grounds 
in the Kingdom. In addition to grazing, its inhabitants 
are also working in agriculture wherein they grow 
palm trees, fruits and vegetables.

 
Al­Jouf is deeply rooted 
in history. 
  Archaeologists believe it is one of the first 
places where humans settled in the Arabian 
Peninsula. 
Many of the archaeological evidences emphasize the fact 
that  several generations of human life have been 
developed in this part of the world. It was home of many 
generations of mankind in at least four periods in the 
stone ages.
