Application are invited from eligible candidates by speed/registered post for faculty positions in
various disciplines as detailed hereunder. The candidates are required to apply in prescribed format and
send the same with (i) Requisite certificates in support of qualification and experience (ii) Application
fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST) in favour of Director, Bipin
Tripathi, Kumaon Institute of Technology, Dwarahat payable at SBI, KEC branch, Dwarahat for
every applied post. The application form and details regarding qualification/eligibility criteria
application fee and general instructions for the post(s) can be downloaded from institute Website
(www.kecua.ac.in). The application complete in all respect shall reach to the Registrar of the institute
latest by 25.05.2018 Incomplete received applications shall be summarily rejected.

the disciplines/ branches of Engineering & Technology, and for Applied Sciences and Humanities as
per UGC norms. Bearing minimum qualifications/eligibility criteria does not mean that the candidate
will be called for interview. The institute has right to raise the minimum standard & qualification &
experience etc. as per need.
Salary and allowances: Salary and allowances will be as per State government norms and/or of the
institute only. All relevant details/information are available at the institute website.
Reservations: The above vacancies are on the basis of Vertical Reservation (SC/ST/OBC) of the state
of Uttarakhand however, Horizontal Reservations shall be applicable as per existing rules of
Government of Uttarakhand.
Note: The number of above mentioned posts may increase or decrease. All previously published
advertisement for vacant teaching posts shall be treated as cancelled. Institute reserves its right to
withdraw or cancel the above advt. in part or full. Applications received after due date ( even due to
postal delay) will not be considered.
Applicants who had applied earlier against the advertisement No. BTKIT/FACULTY/01/2015-16 need
not to apply afresh, however they may send their recent resume for the post, applied earlier. If they
wish to apply for higher post or any other post, have to apply as a fresh applicant.
 Discrepancy in pay scale of Associate Professor shall be subject to the decision of Uttarakhand
Government.
 As per the decision of the Board of Governors of the institute, the applicant must have
B.E./B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech from the same department, subject to the approval of State
Government.
