want to go through pain for charity. Chung has used such sources such as

researchers to show that people will be attract to a walk/run for the reason being

pain. Also she uses Carnegie mellon university that people are inclined to participate

when experience is painful.Chungs reasons were to attract more people into giving

back. Elizabeth wanted more people to join her journey. This article has enhanced

my project by letting me know to show support to charities. Also this bring to my

attentions and bring spark and knowledge because I want people to come join me

when i pursuit my journey.

Dec. 2017. In this article, Jason explains how beneficial strength training can be for a

runner. Fitzgerald used many ways such as giving a plan for a example 5-10 minutes

of core and body daily. Also making sure weekly that your focused on body weight.

According to Jason Fitzgerald you can do both run training and strength train to just
give balance. Fitzgerald explained that he fits in both to his daily routines. This

article enhanced my article by making awareness of how beneficial training can be

before running. The spark it will give my project is education on a topic I never

Knew of that way I could educate others. The most useful idea i got from this article

was balance.

Goldman, Lesile. “3 Reasons Strength Training Will Benefit Your Run.” Active, Runners

that in order to do a run you should know what workouts that affect your running.

Goldman uses sources such as, “Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research ” that

describes that when using the strength method training will help you build

endurance in your legs. Also a real runner named Tom Parnell, who believes that

contributing with strength training help him recover from weight gain and get back

to running. Lesile continues to explain the fact that strength training could really

help and affect your running in a positive way. Also that one you give strength

training a go you will see results in your running. This article has enhanced my

project for the reason being that I could have been doing the wrong workouts for my

project without even knowing it. The article sparked me the idea that I should now

include strength training to my workouts. With the usable information being that I

can endure my training in different ways makes my project fulfilled, I will be using

the strength training.

Dec. 2017. In this article, Christine explains that running for a 5k has to be trained

for and scheduled out. After evaluating Luff’s levels of runners she uses charts and

schedules on when to train for example beginners need to give themselves 8 weeks

to train. Also the schedules include how to train for instance you could increase your

runs by a quarter mile each week. Throughout my reading process Luff directly

explains that a 5k isn’t something to just go for without a training process especially

if you are a beginner runner. The importance of training makes a huge impact even

for your own safety. This article enhances my project for the fact being that I learned

something that I would not have know if I did not educate myself on running a 5k.

The article sparks the idea of planning out my runs and making sure I am prepared

to run with energy. Every word in this article is usable because its shows discipline

on how to work out and when to work out and that is what I need for my project.

many people come on thanksgiving and make a 5k a tradition. The sources used was

himself because he explain how it feels seeing many runners go and contribute. Also

the Race director says he sees that over the years it has become a tradition for many

people. To Nickel this day is important that people come out and support and run

their best. To lori this has been a tradition for years. What I have gained from this

article is that this could be a tradition for me as well . It shouldn’t be just my senior

project but an annual way of giving back .It has impacted not only my project but me

as well
