C.Did the task analysis help you plan your project? 4
D.   Would you recommend your project for future seniors? 7
E.Please explain your answer in letter “D.”

This project was very challenging, because I had to keep up to date with all of new events that occurred in my
American life. However, it was worth it despite the fact it was time-consuming. I learned a lot of technical skills
and could get blog writing experience. It is a wonderful memory not only for the senior project but also for the
whole life.

8. Would you feel threatened to show your project to an expert for evaluation?

No. I would like to share with my highlights of the exchange year and tell the jury what I have learned and
about the impact that the life in the USA has had on me.

9. List three things you now know after completing this project.
1.   It is good to stay up to date with all the blog posts to make people interested in everything you write.
2.   You should be flexible and always ready to take up new challenges writing a blog because you never know
what can happen in your life thus it is difficult to predict future posts
3.   Apply as many photos as possible because they attract the observators to read more and are complementary
to your descriptions.
10. List any personal satisfaction or knowledge you gained from this experience.

1.   Seeing my website, I felt like I managed to accomplish something which will stay the whole life with me and
will be a good memory.
2.   I gained knowledge about website management and time distribution in order to create new posts as well as
I could improve my lingual skills.
3.   It is great to see how many people are interested in your blog and are curious about what will happen next.

11. What comments about your project have you heard from students, parents, teachers, or community
members? For example: “I never knew you knew so much about motors.”

When I started writing the blog some people wrote comments on my website cheering on me and my
posts. They found them very interesting and even educational. I was very happy seeing that people liked the
posts that I wrote and could not wait for future ones. It was a big motivation for me and I felt really appreciated
when I saw the statistics on my website that have shown that my website was visited by many people not only
from my home country but from all around the world.

12. Describe what risks you took in completing this project. Consider not only a physical risk, but an emotional
or intellectual challenge.

I think that the biggest intellectual challenge for me was the fact that I wrote in English which is not my original
language but I think that it was a great decision because it had beneficial effect on my personal development
and I could share my ideas with many foreign people. I confess that I was sometimes stressed about updating
the posts because it needed a big concentration to write and describe accurately all the moments I
experienced.

13. List or describe any problems you encountered.

I think that attaching photos and its selection caused me a little problem because I could not load them all at
once when I wished to. I had to wait some time to lead them and place in a proper places in the blog. Sometimes
it was hard to keep up with the posts as it required much time and effort and I had also another homework and
tests that I had to prepare for. However, I think it was beneficial for me because I could learn how to manage
time efficiently.

A.    How did you handle these problems?

I attached the photos one by one and chose them before so that I did not have to search them for a long time. I
tried to start writing the post earlier and that is why I did not have to wait for their publication.

14. Is your project original or creative in any way? If yes, explain how.

I believe my project can be considered as creative. I think that my memories that were written in form of posts
are unique and one of the kind. I described memories from my perspective. Trying to improve my project, I
decided to load photos taken myself.

15. How do you feel about having your paper, project, and evaluation form on file as a model for next year’s
students? Explain why or why not.

I feel that it would be a big recognition for me and I would feel motivated to do more that kind of projects. I
would be very happy if I could see that someone gets an inspiration from my work and follow my example.
16. If given the opportunity, what would you do differently now that you speak from experience?

I would not have procrastinated so much in posting new posts when they had been supposed to be posted a little
earlier.

17. Beyond the project itself, what did you learn about yourself?

I’ve realized that I am pretty good at reporting events that I took part in. I also discovered that I can take care
of the graphic design of the website so that it looks more attractive. As the work progressed, I realized that I
can be sometimes impatient if it comes to dealing with new technology and managing staff.

18. What grade would you give yourself for your project? Justify the evaluation of your grade in at least 25
words.

             My grade: B+

             Justification:

I believe that my project was a great achievement for me and I can consider it as a personal success. I spend a
lot of time and put an effort into well- detailed descriptions of my daily routine and significant events that I
could participate in. However, I wouldn’t say I did it perfectly. If I were to improve a little my work, I would
publish my posts faster after the activities that I was in. I think that my project has an educational value as well
because it describes differences between a daily life of European and American lifestyle. In my opinion, this
project also greatly contributed to build my lingual skills and raised my self- esteem.
