This study aims to determine the effect of learning through the activities of motion and
song to increase the kinesthetic ability of children aged 3-4 years in KB Al Ghoniya Malang.
This research uses descriptive qualitative research type. The Subjects in this study were 15
children which contained of 7 girls and 8 boys. The research techniques used in this research are
observation, interview and documentation. Instrument of data collection in this research are
observation sheet, teacher action record, child kinesthetic ability assessment, and interview
guide. The Stages of data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data and drawing
conclusions.

The results showed that the kinesthetic ability of children increased in the ability to
perform coordinated movements, agile and balanced with the application of motion and song
activities. The Increased of kinesthetic ability in the children is indicated by the child's ability to
calibrate on each cycle.

The conclusions and suggestions in this study are motion and song activities can increase
the kinesthetic ability of children with obtained success shown in cycle 1 children able to do
coordinated movement as much as 6 children, increased to 13 children in cycle 2. The child is
able to move as agile as 5 children in cycle 1, increased to 12 children in cycle 2. Suggestions for
further researchers are able to use more varied motion and song activities to improve early
childhood kinesthetic ability.
