 ANNEXURE

Detailed Specification :

I. Supplier shall furnish complete and satisfactory type test certificates as

per T/E specification for each size of the fan to the concern Director (QA) at
the time of inspection.The TTC shall be from any Govt.laboratory.
TTC shall indicate clearly and categorically the following parameters.
a) Blade angle at root, elevation and at tip
b) Width ,thickness and material of the blade.
c) Capacitance value.
d) Material of the body of the fan motor
e) Total weight of the fan motor.
II. Blade thickness without paint shall be as follows:
Sweep Size Minimum Blade thickness
900 mm & 1200 mm 1mm
1400 mm & 1500 mm 1.10 mm
III. The material of the blade shall be H3 Grade Aluminium Alloy Sheet conforming
to IS:737:1986
IV. The load bearing bolt shall be of min. 6 mm dia with Aluminium Clamp, Spring
Washer, Nut and Checknut and Split Pin.
V. (a) Down rod shall be of 1.6mm nominal thick ERW pipe.
(b) Shackle made from 2mm nominal thick CRC sheet and
(c) Bolts (2 Nos.) shall be 6mm with Spring Washer Nut and Checknut and Split
Pin.
VI. Shank shall be made of CRC sheet of thickness 1.6 mm minimum without paint
for all sizes.

Electric Ceiling Fan Capacitor Type

Specification:- ISI marked electric ceiling fan capacitor type with double ball
bearing complete with capacitor, 300mm down rod, canopies, ,three number blades
made of aluminum alloy, speed regulator, suitable for single phase,AC, 230Volt,
50Hz supply and conforming to class 1 of IS: 374/1979 with amendment number 1 to
6 :--

Spares and Accessories for Electric Ceiling Fan

Specification :The down rod shall be capable to withstand a tensile load of 1000
Kg. without breakdown and a torsion load of 500 kg. cm. without breakage as per
Clause 10.14.1 of IS:374/1979 with amendment no.1 to 6.
