The document summarizes comments from MPPGCl regarding changes to the electrical design drawings for a plant.
[1] The number of modules shown in the 6.6kv switchgear needs to be increased from 11 to 14 to accommodate two new dry type transformers providing power to an alternate coal path.
[2] The new dry type transformers should be housed inside the MCC room rather than outside as they are not suitable for outdoor installation.
[3] The sizing of the HT switchgear and layout of the MCC room need to be reviewed to provide spare feeders and house the dry type transformers inside.

In the plant at ground floor 11 nos modules has been shown
in 6.6 kv switchgear. After considering the installation of 2 Nos Dry type Transformers providing LT supply to alternate 1 coal path the 11 Nos. modules provided in earlier approved drawings vide no. E-154/M/I-02 Rev- 03, shall be increased to 14 Nos..
The new proposed Dry type transformers are shown to be
out side adjacent to MCC room. The same may be housed 2 inside MCC room near to LT switchgear, as dry type Transformers are not suitable for outdoor installation.
The sizing of HT switchgear may be reviewed in view of para
(a) above and plan at ground floor of MCC room may be 3 reviewed from the point of view of providing spare feeders and installing the dry type Transformer inside the MCC room.

The newly proposed Dry type transformers (6.6KV/433V)
shall be housed inside MCC Room near to LT switchgear layout of MCC room shall be modified accommodating these 1 transformers as well as incorporating transformer feeders with its spare feeder and having adequete cooling space for MCC room.
The revised HT and LT cable sizing and schedule as per
modified MCC room layout considering the proposed 2 location of MCC room and housing of dry type transformers (6.6 KV/433V) inside MCC room shall be submitted at the earliest.
M/s Energo shal provide suitable arrangement for the new
proposed dry type transformer HT & LT terminal connection. The details and drawing of dry type transformers has already 3 been given by site vide letter ubder ref (iii). However, photographs of HT & LT terminals and other details as provided by site is enclosed for ready reference. The vendor drawings/documents has not been submitted by M/s Energo so far as much it is requested to submit the 4 pending drawings/documents at the earliest for review/approval looking to the schedule time of commissioning.
