One of the most important tasks for educators in the world today is
to help students learn about the rich variety of people in our
multicultural world and the important world problems that face our
planet. English language teachers have a special role to play in this
important task. In this article, I'd like to outline ten steps that
classroom instructors can take to become global teachers and to
add an international dimension to their language classrooms.
3. If you were given an opportunity to work abroad, will you accept it? Why
or why not?
Whether you are a teacher by profession or a teacher by nature, these few words are for you.
A teacher is someone who patiently stands by his/her students, someone who
instills the essence of life and who consistently proves that learning can be a
joyous and a pleasant experience.
Every teacher is rewarded not by money but by the progress of their students
and feels down whenever a student is not doing well.
A teacher’s love is always extended to the students wherever life may lead
them; always wanting to keep in touch and to know how far they have aspired.
The Global Teacher identifies the qualification of a global teacher and to gain insights abou
t the qualities of global teacher. At present new trends andtechnologies have changed
the setup of education all over the world, as a teacher weneed to be prepared
to have more knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to the needsof multi-
cultural education within the global community. And the global teacher isone who is wel

nd it says that there is nomoney in teaching but the joy of seeing the pupils to learn, the sm
iles they give us tosignal their appreciation, and the love they show us everyday a
re more than whatmoney can buy and it could be a treasure for us. From this e
xperiences encourage memore to be well prepared from the near future.
OVERALL REFLECTION
I come to education later in life and with a passion. I did not expect that I would have a second
career. I volunteered last year in my daughter’s kindergarten class for a few hours a week to be
generous to the community. Quickly, I discovered that I was the one receiving the gift. The children
were extraordinary; exciting, challenging, and loving. Her teachers and the other teachers I met at
her school were extraordinary as well. Their caring, professionalism, and openheartedness moved
and inspired me. I believe that teaching is an essential and noble profession. Next to parents,
teachers are the most important foundational element in our society. Everything important begins in
childhood, especially knowledge, self-knowledge, resilience, and character. Proper preparation is
fundamental to living a full, rewarding life. Without self-knowledge, children may follow wrong paths
and end up far from their true callings; lost, sad, and unfulfilled. Without resilience, the storms and
challenges of life can turn children from their highest path, leaving them far from who they might have
been. Finally, character is the intangible force that raises society as a whole, minimizes shocks and
collisions between people, and balances self-interest and social good. Ideally, all of this education
starts in the home but often the parents themselves may be inadequately skilled in this
regard. School is a necessary complement to and supplement of this learning.
As I began to read about children and education, a new world opened. I understood that I had the
opportunity to make at least a few children’s educational experiences more nurturing and productive
than my own had been. The brilliant body of work I was reading was ripe with opportunities to
improve the outcomes and experiences of students today. In not much time, it became clear to me
that the second half of my life would be about children and their education.
I have been a teacher all my life in various ways. I have a love of learning. Sharing that learning is
part of the fun. I never imagined that I would, but I love the students. I love their innocence and their
simple joys and their fresh eyes as they look at the world. I love the challenge of communicating
ideas and skills. I love the idea of leading a team of learners toward a goal of demonstrated
mastery. I love the idea of giving these children a set of skills and an outlook that will hold them,
solid, brave, and capable, as they move through the balance of their academic career and through
life. My love of learning will be a powerful force, driving my continued acquisition of pedagogical and
content knowledge. I am highly creative and will continue to experiment with learning tools and
strategies. Teaching is no small undertaking, but I am confident that I will remain dedicated, excited,
and energetic. I have several advantages. This is not a career for me; I have already had one of
those. It is a calling. It is what I was born to do and I have no doubt in that regard. I am neither
wide-eyed nor innocent. I have been in organizations for most of my life and I understand their
functioning. I know of the resource scarcity, the time scarcity, and the often indifferent or even hostile
forces thwarting excellence. I know it is not about me and, in an important way, it is not about any
given child. My job is to do the best I can do under the circumstances. I can and will do that. I
believe students love to learn and that all students can grasp any elementary school material with
sufficient help. My intent as a teacher is to have clear standards, evaluate students against those
standards, and continue to iterate learning until mastery levels are reached in all reasonable cases. I
have never met a bad child. I believe that elementary school children are all desirous of and entitled
to a nurturing and supportive environment. Mostly, I believe each child is an individual deserving of
my best efforts and support and that the students and I share an obligation to find ways for them to
gain mastery.
My philosophy is to act in service of the children. I will give them a learning skeleton of essentialist
standards and flesh it out with the most exciting, flame-lighting achievements of humanity (be they
literature, science, math, art, music or something else). I believe a teacher’s duty is to provide
students with the essentials and the tools, catalysts, and opportunities to explore their higher
purpose.
My Auto Biography
I’m Mary Rose D. Orense, 19 years of age and the elder daughter
of my parent. My heights is common in the other girl its 5'6 my weights
is 45 kls.
I lived in Lumil, San Jose, Batangas and i'm 19 years living in this
barangay.
I’m that person can easy to become friend of yours, and I’m the one like
to be good for you as a friend and can trust and even your problem or
secret are safe to me. And I look a friend that the same for me and always
support me and help me for my problem, and also willing to listen for my
story. And I’m also love reading and it is my hobbies when I’m bored in
our house.
And I’m also only focus in my study, my goal and my family, so that’s
why I have nothing boyfriend since birth but I’m not saying that anyone
can’t try to court in me. Because actually I have love someone and it’s
since when I’m in grade school, and he is my neighbor because when we
decide to transferred here in batangas and to leave here, one day I see
him, and that time I already to like him, and he is 3 years older than me
and of course its only a puppy love because I’m only 12 years old that
time, but when I’m turning high school my feeling is bloom and I think
he likes me too because he always saying ‘hi’ to me and of course I was
feeling happy because my love someone is treat me that way, and a years
came we both have the opportunity to have both celfone number, then we
texting and I think I already love him in that time and we have time to
talk about our feelings to each other and he saying that he love me also
and he said that is since I’m third high school and we also share are both
story in life background we have. But all of that happen to us and share
together being a friend going to have mutual understanding, I decide to
frustrate him to become his girlfriend for the reason of my own goal, and
that’s not to have a boyfriend while studying. And now I’ve realize that
was a big wrong decision I make because after a 7 month left that are
communication is disappeared there big news I heard that’s my love
someone is kill of a unknown person. And now he is death since month
of March, its so sad feeling for me, and I’m thinking if what will happen
if I say ‘yes’ for him. And there a feeling of regret on my part and also
most for his family, because he is a nice guy and responsible, so
everybody think that why did to him this kind of cruel. And until now
there no links about his death and no one can say and see if what the real
happen in that time he is kill, until now they can’t give a justice for him. I
hope they found justice and even not now but at least a day comes or
month or even a year can give a justice for him.
And because what happen, I have a lesson, that if you like someone
you have to face it and express it how it’s true your feeling for your love
someone and if there opportunity you have to grab it what ever its takes,
because opportunity only come once in our life and the only you can do
is to grab it fast. I graduated in Elementary in S.Y of 2010-2011 in
Roman Ozaeta Memorial School. And when I’m in elementary I have
many event that I joined before, like being officer in any organization.
And when I finish my grade school and step to high school, I’m so exited
that time and also nervous because I have many things in mind if what if
I cant survive in secondary.
And now this is my story. I hope that all my dreams was come true.
