It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Danessa Allison.

As her softball coach and biology teacher, I have observed Danessa in many
different situations. Her ability to perform well in any setting makes Danessa
an extremely strong candidate for acceptance into Slippery Rock University.

Danessa is one of the most exceptional young women I have ever known.
She is an outstanding student, a gifted athlete, and a caring person. Danessa
is a natural leader, and her peers and teammates look to her for guidance in
many situations. She is also an excellent role model for young women; many
younger girls look up to Danessa. Danessa embraces the role of leader and
role model and I am thoroughly impressed with her positive attitude and self-
confidence.

Danessa makes an enormous impact at DuBois Area High School. She is a

member of the volleyball and softball teams, excelling in both sports.
Danessa is also a member of Student Council and a member of the National
Honor Society. She volunteers at Camp Confidence and for the American Red
Cross. These are just a few of the things that Danessa does for her school
and community.

From a coach’s perspective, Danessa is one of my favorite athletes I have

ever coached. She is a fierce competitor who plays with a passion that is
uncommon in athletes her age. Danessa leads by example, and she knows
the right thing to say to motivate her teammates. Danessa will do whatever
is asked of her, and is completely unselfish. She always focuses on team
goals and provides a shining example of what a good teammate should be.
When the game is on the line, I want Danessa to be making the play or
coming up to bat.

Danessa is an extraordinary young woman with unlimited potential. She is

one of the most talented athletes and best students I have ever known.
Danessa is a genuinely caring individual who wears her heart on her sleeve.
Slippery Rock University will immediately benefit from her presence. I feel
very fortunate to know her, and I recommend her to you with the highest
confidence.
