Allan Myers is a heavy construction company with multiple

offices in Dover, DE, Fallston,
MD, Chesapeake, VA, Fairfax,
VA, Richmond, VA, and
Williamsburg, VA. The company
has 16 asphalt plants that are
spread throughout
Pennsylvania, Maryland,
Delaware, and Virginia. Allan
Myers also owns five quarry
locations, four of which are
located in Pennsylvania, while
the last one is in Elk Mills,
Maryland.

restoration, and paving airport runways and taxiways. Allan Myers has

numerous projects, but its most
notable may be the Jim Thorpe
Bridge in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania.
The bridge is a 961 foot, four-span
continuous steel plate girder bridge
that sits above the Lehigh River.

ENR (Engineering News-Record). Allan Myers produces their own
materials, which helps to get more accurate estimates for scheduling,
higher quality materials, and also brings the overall costs down for the
projects. Since 2014, the company has doubled their asphalt plants from
eight to sixteen and is adding a seventh regional office and an asphalt
plant in Southern Virginia to accommodate for the rapid growth of the
company.
