We on behalf of Jubilee Hills Public School welcome all of you this

this special day of splendor. We have all gathered here today to
celebrate the Dussera, Batkamma, Telugu Day, Hindi Day, And
Teaches Day 5in1 Special Assembly. Hoof….that was quite a
mouthful.

That’s Right we are celebrating five festivites today and so I expect

the eagerness and excitement of the audience too to be five times
more! But before everything else… following in the footsteps of
JHPS tradition we will seek god’s blessings. I request all of you to
kindly stand up for the prayer song.

Without furthur ado lets start with the show.

The festival of Dussehra is unique in its perception and significance.

According to the great Hindu epic Ramayana, Lord Ram killed Ravana
on the tenth day that is Dussehra. It is called as triumph of virtue
over sin or immorality ; the victory of good over evil. Many Hindus
also believe that it is lucky to start a new venture, project or
journey on Dussehra. They may also exchange gifts of leaves from
the Shami tree (Prosopis spicigera) as a symbol of the story of the
Pandavas brothers' exile in the Mahabharata stories.

Music speaks what cannot be expressed soothes the mind and gives
it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to
soul.So put your hands together for the next performance

Bathukamma is a festival that is celebrated for nine days during
navrathri. It starts on Mahalaya Amavasya and ends on Ashwayuja
Ashtami (also called 'Pedha/Sadhula Bathukamma'). 'Bathukamma' in
telugu, is to ask the 'goddess to come alive'. Preparing a
Bathukamma is a folk art. Bathukamma represents cultural spirit of
Telangana. Bathukamma is a beautiful flower stack, arranged with
different unique seasonal flowers most of them with medicinal
values, in seven concentric layers in the shape of temple gopuram.

DANCE is one of the most divine form Arts. It is much more than
just moving your hands and legs. Dance is actually a way to
expression an individual’s feelings. So get set ready for all the
excitement and delight and gear up for a striking performance

समार्ेश ैं .इन सभी भाषाओाँ में ह िं दी को दे श की मातृ भाषा का दजाव हदया
गया .आज य दु हनया में सर्ाव हिक बोली जाने र्ाली भाषाओिं में से एक ैं .इसे
सम्मान दे ने के हलए प्रहत र्षव 14 हसतम्बर को ह िं दी हदर्स और राष्ट्रीय एकता
हदर्स मनाया जाता ैं .
