In the fall of 2016 it was my pleasure to have Miss Kathleen Steele as a pre-service (PS1)
teacher in my classroom. From the first moment Miss Steele walked into my classroom she
exuded the with-it-ness, presence of mind and character of an educator. Her enthusiasm and
passion for teaching was apparent in every moment and it was an inspiration to our students,
and to me as well.

Miss Steele was well prepared for her lessons. Her plans were well thought out and very well
organized. She created an exciting learning environment for the students and they were
engaged and learned a great deal from her. With each lesson, Miss Steele was very reflective
in her planning and execution and accepting of constructive criticism or gentle redirection.

Miss Steele is a passionate worker and learner. She created positive relationships with the
other team teachers, educational assistants and administration. I would not hesitate for a
moment to recommend Miss Steele for any employment that she should seek in the future.
