Introduction:

During the 12-week internship program at University of Dhaka, I am required to do a term

project. The internship is designed to give the MIS students an understanding of the real-life
job situation while working in a company. I am expected to do my internship at Zazira Limes
factory which is situated in Shiddirganj, Narayanganj. I am paying attention to do my project
on “Operations of Zazira Limes”.

Objectives of the report:

General Objective:

 The general objective is to prepare and submit the report within specified time given
to me.

 To have a very practical idea and over viewing of the “Zazira Limes” and putting real
value to the overall operation in the factory and office through my inquiries.
Specific Objective:

Specific objectives of the study are as follows:

 The mission, vision, goals and objectives of the Zazira Limes.

 Find out the market share of Zazira Limes in their product and service comparing
with another lime Factory.
 Supply chain of Zazira Limes.
 External environment analysis
 Find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in this particular
segment.
 Identify customer segment and their transactional variation.
 Determine different factors by how we can increase our customer satisfaction.
 Elicit their suggestions for improvement.
 Identify the other factory area of strength, and how to position the concerned factory
competitively, which will provide better match between the product and customers
than that of another factory.
 Implementation of the chosen strategy.

Methodology:

For the secondary data, I will gather the information’s from my experiences and learning in
the factory. Moreover, I will also use the brochures, periodicals and Internet for further
information’s for the completion of the secondary data. So, the secondary data part of the
project will be based on primary data.
Time Frame

I believe I will be able to submit the report upon the meeting with my faculty member and
within the time frame given by the faculty member. My questionnaire and Collecting
response & personal interview will be accomplished within the time allocated for the task.
For data tabulation and processing will follow the same. Submission of the final report is
subjected to the assigning faculty member.

I would hope that you would be kind enough to approve me to work on this project and I
believe I will be able to submit it on the due date that the faculty members assign for me.
