H) Short Story (Storyboard)– Writing Frame

A short story often starts with a storyboard. A storyboard is like a graphic organizer because it outlines and
highlights the events of the story in chronological order. A storyboard is a way to tell a story visually and in small
bite-sized chunks. A storyboard sometimes has short captions or dialogue to explain what is happening.
Storyboards follow the same structure as short stories. They have a plot, characters, setting and are meant to
entertain an audience and/or convey a message. There is also a problem that arises and a resolution (a way the
problem is solved).
