Subject: Revised Final Result of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2)

Examination, 2016 for recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Court
Clerk, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

The final result of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2016 was
initially declared on 16.02.2018. However, after the declaration of the final result, the
Commission, on the two grounds listed below, has had to comprehensively review and
revise the result of CHSLE, 2016:

(i) Candidates of ‘Lohar’ community of Bihar were considered as ST candidates but

the aforesaid community has not been included in the list of STs of Bihar.
(ii) The Skill Test data of 55 candidates was not taken into account while preparing
the final result of CHSLE 2016.

2. The Commission has, therefore, undertaken a comprehensive review of the result

and a revised result of CHSL Examination 2016 is being declared herewith by the
Commission.

3. Accordingly, based on the revision of the result, the following four lists have been
prepared:

List-1: 71 (seventy one) candidates who were ‘not selected’ in the earlier result are now
declared as ‘selected’.

List-2: 72 (seventy two) candidates who were declared ‘selected’ in the earlier result are
now declared as not selected.

List-3: 93 (ninety three) candidates in respect of whom there is a change in the Post/
Department.

List-4: Due to revision in the result, ranks of the candidates have been revised. The detail of
revised rank of the candidates is given in this list.

4. After the revision of the final result of CHSL Examination, 2016 as mentioned above,
the final category-wise break-up of the candidates selected for the posts of Lower Division
Clerk, Court Clerk, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator is as follows:

7. Resolution of Tie cases:
In case where more than one candidate has secured the equal aggregates marks, tie
has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another:
i) Marks in first part of Tier-I.
ii) Date of Birth, with older candidates placed higher.
iii) Alphabetical order in which first names of the candidates appear.

http://ssc.nic.in. Other details and particulars will remain the same as per the result dated
16-02-2018.
