Gravas, Arenas o Finos.

ABSTRACT
The granulometric analysis according to I.N.V. E - 123 - 07 is used to analyze and classify the soil. Initially a
representative sample of the soil to be examined is taken, which is passed through the No. 200 sieve, washing
it to disaggregate any lump present. Once this is done, It is carried to the furnace to remove intrinsic soil
moisture and those that are introduced into the washing, the resulting product is passed through sieves of
different sizes, once this is done, it is carried to the furnace to eliminate the intrinsic moisture of the soil and
those that are introduced in the washing, the resulting product is passed through sieves of different sizes,
Which allows to observe the quantity of material that predominates of each one. The obtained data can be
arranged in a graph, the percentage that passes against the size of the sieve called Granulometric Curve, and
calculating certain parameters can be classified within the different types of soils. Gravel, Arenas or Finos.
