A man was born to be a leader, but in the process he adapted to the complexities of his world,
is often inhibited. Among these inhibitors, fears, doubts and worries stand out fundamentally.

The first steps of life are made in a leadership context, where the representative or
responsible is a guide to follow and inspires respect. These leaders are developed in different
contexts: an organization, company, institution or the family itself.

Concept and importance of leadership

What do we mean by leader? In general, it is the visible head of a group, team or organization
capable of making sound decisions and inspiring others to reach a common goal. It is a
charismatic person capable of influencing others. Based on this, we can say that leadership
involves more than one person. (Madrigal Torres, 2009)

In business, the leader would be the person who inspires, who makes decisions that affect
the company in a positive way and that can bring together a disparate team and get them to
work with a common goal. (Madrigal Torres, 2009)

Qualities of a leader

1. Trust: as a boss or entrepreneur we must be aware of the tasks that our team does but
not supervising at all times and continuously. This can generate a climate of distrust
on the part of our workers.

2. Integrity: A leader will not be effective if his subordinates and their superiors distrust
him.

3. Decision: A leader must be able to make decisions, especially under pressure.

4. Optimism: one can lose the distrust of our employees if they always observe a
pessimistic attitude especially in the most difficult situations. A leader must be
realistic but not fatalistic.

5. Vision: it is necessary to establish some goals, some goals to be achieved by the

company. And act towards the achievement of them. (Madrigal Torres, 2009)

Four Leadership Crutches

According to Thomas Cleary (2000), the leadership body has four crutches: enlightenment
and virtue, word and action, humanity and justice, etiquette and law. enlightenment and virtue
are the root of teaching, while humanity and justice are the branches of teaching. without root
it is impossible to keep wn pee; without branches it is impossible to be complete. (Lussier,
2005)

The sages of the antigueadad noticed that the students could not govern themselves, for
that reason they erected communities where to settle them and they established the leadership
to direct them.
Consequently, a good leader must honor, first, enlightenment and virtue, and be careful in
word and deed. (Lussier, 2005)

Success is neither magic nor luck change: it comes from a great deal of consistent hard work
for each perfecting every detail. It's even a bit trivial. Win, go back to work, win again.

What great leaders do is establish a system in which people are constantly examining their
own performance and striving to improve. In large teams people review the data and very
specifically their own contribution to maintain a high level.
