Subject to the King

Matthew 13.3-9

Jesus begins telling kingdom parables. (Matthew 13.1-23)

Why does He speak in parables ? (10-17)

Since his invitation (11.28-30), unbelievers are seemingly more hardened.

Israel rejects her king and refuses the kingdom He offers.

Jesus’ ministry now changes .

With this change in ministry, comes a change in His teaching style .
