Our speaker for the September 1st dinner

covers the OSU women’s basketball program.
Marcus is beginning his fifth year with the paper
and he does a great job of covering the team. I
hope you will join us at the September meeting to
hear his perspective on our team and the outlook
for the 2010-11 basketball season.

will be held on September 20. The Golf Classic
is the club’s largest Rebounders fundraiser each
year. We still need door prizes (gift cards of
$15-$25 are great), silent auction items ($50+

PAST-PRESIDENT’S REPORT
As we enter a new year with The
Rebounders Club, it is my responsibility to seek
enthusiastic Rebounders to run for election to
the offices of President-Elect (3-year term) and
Treasurer (2-year term) for the 2011-12 year. As
I begin my third year serving on the Executive
Board, I can attest that it has been a little work
and a lot of fun! I’ve had the opportunity to meet
and work with interesting people and to support
our women’s basketball Buckeyes. To learn more
about these positions and the commitment that is

FUN FACTS
Here is a brief introduction of the 2010-
2011 OSU Women’s Basketball Freshman Class.
Amy Scullion is a 6’ 0” guard from Salem
High School in Salem, Ohio. She is the Ohio
Gatorade Player of the year and is ranked 44th on
ESPN’s Top 100 Players in the Nation. Amy
averaged over 17 points per game and led her
team in rebounds and assists. She is also a
national Top 50 volleyball Recruit for 2010. Amy
is rated as one of the top prospects in the nation
at her position.
Daryce Moore is a 6’ 2” center out of
Boardman High School in Youngstown, Ohio. She
is a First Team All-Ohio and a two time Federal
League Player of the Year. Daryce averaged 19
points and 11 rebounds per game her junior year.
Ashley Adams is a 6’ 5” center out of
Siloam Springs High School in Arkansas. She is a
member of the 2010 Class 5A All-Arkansas Team.
Ashley is a top 100 Prospect in the All-
Star Girls Report and is ranked number 17 for
her center position by ESPN in the 2010
Recruiting Class.
Martina Ellerbe is a 6’ 2” forward from
St. Mary’s High School in Teaneck, New Jersey.
She is a member of the 2010 Third Team All-New
Jersey. Martina graduated with a 3.9 GPA in
Advanced Studies and is a member of the
National Honor Society.
