Recommendation Letter To Whom It May Concern 1 ani so proud to give this recommendation letter for one of my outstanding students, Aji Candra Lestari as part of the requirements for applying YSEP “Youth Scientist Exchange Program Focused of Research (YFR) which held by Tokyo Institute of Technology. As his lecturer, he has shown me a good academic skill as well as social skill along his study in the class. Moreover, he also has shown high enthusiasm on research fields including aerospace propulsion and turbo jet and rocket development. To arove that he is really struggle in his research, he often participates in several competitions, such as national innovation competition for university students which is being held annually, NIC M Fest ITB which he was successfully become one of the top ten inventors there, and many more. Besides those competitions, he is also involved in several organizations related to his research, such as being the head of GATRA Gas Turbine Research Association) Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada, being the manager of wind turbine and renewable energy engineering research, being the Head of Escorting Secretariat BSO (CT and EEC) Faculty to 2, ete. Despite his academic achievements above, he has exemplary skill towards social activities. Recently, he hhas succeeded for becoming the leader in KKN (rural areas contribution programmes for university students) in Desa Givikerto, Ngawi, He and his team managed fo raise up the potentials in that village in terms of education, entrepreneurship, health, and culture. J have known Aji Candra Lestari for more than one year and I believe that he has fulfilled all of the requirements for joining this program. I know by heart that he deserves this opportunity to expand his idea and research about the sustainable technology focusing on turbine and rocket. He always says to me that he has a very noble idea to make Indonesia a better place. He wants to develop the gas turbine because he thinks that it will be very potential to be applied in Indonesia since it has many regions where suas turbine are quite neglected by the government and there is still no distinguished technology to develop tha: kind of project.
