Saxon Lighthorse [4 sq.] with 3rd Cavalry Division, 3rd Brigade (Dommanget)
Saxon Garde du Corps [4 sq.] with 7th Heavy Cavalry Division, 1st Brigade (Thielemann)
Saxon Zastrov Cuirassiers [4 sq.] with 7th Heavy Cavalry Division, 1st Brigade (Thielemann)
There are no Saxon infantry (serving as the 21st and 22nd Divisions) at Borodino according to this OB.
Per the OB in the Osprey Borodino and Saxony books, the Saxon army made up VII Corps (Reynier) but
apparently only the cavalry was at Borodino with the infantry used to garrison Kuszelin-Macowice-
Toczyn – it is curious that the Osprey Saxony book makes no mention of any Saxons at Borodino
although there is a picture of Saxon ‘von Zastrow’ Kuerassier Regiment storming the Rajewski redoubt at
Borodino.
