Friendship is a precious diamond .No one of us can live without a fiend. Some people choose
friends, who are similar to them, while others choose friends who are different to them.
 In my personal opinion, I prefer to choose a similar friend to my character for these following
reasons.

First of all, I will find myself more comfortable and calm, since my friend's thoughts and
beliefs will be similar to mime, so I am not going to find myself going into argument with my friend
trying to pursued and make him agree with my points of view. In my personal opinion, it's very
difficult to make the others change their nature. So, if my friend was a calm person, I couldn't change
him to be the opposite because that what he is and he used to be.

In addition, Similar friends usually find themselves more attached to each other, and they
might even read each other's opinion and thoughts.

In my experience, my old friend Sam, who was so similar to myself, used to understand my
feelings and read my thoughts before telling him what I was thinking. That what made him my best
friend.

Not only that, but also with similar friends you can enjoy your favorites activities, since they
might be their favorites too. You are not going to see yourself bored from what your friend are
enjoyed because it will be probably amused you for your similarity with your friend in the character.

In conclusion, Having friends different from you has its advantages because may be you can
learn something new from them ; however, this kind of friendship won't be a strong one because of
the differences. I strongly prefer having similar friends because I feel we are going to have the same
opinions, which makes us much closer to each other and enjoy doing things together.
