• Acute Coronary Syndrome is divided into STEMI and
NSTEACS (NSTEMI is NSTEACS with elevated cardiac
biomarkers and UAP is NSTEACS without an increase in
cardiac biomarkers).
• Update diagnosis and management NSTEACS refers to
2015 ESC Guidelines for the management of acute
coronary syndromes in patients presenting without
persistent ST-segment elevation.
• Update diagnosis and management NSTEACS refers to
2017 ESC Guidelines for the management of acute
myocardial infarction in patients presenting with ST-
segment elevation.
