EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

DWCV COMPUTING SERVICE CENTER TICKETING SERVICE

SYSTEM. Christine Gioia A. Torres, John Paul T. Pascua and Lowell Francis
R. Rondolos. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Divine Word
College of Vigan (Vigan City, Philippines), 2018. 67 Pages. Adviser: Julius
Cezar Q. Palomares, BSCS.

This project aimed to develop the DWCV Computing Service Center

Ticketing Service System for the Computing Services Center.
The DWCV Computing Service Center Ticketing Service System was developed
to help the flow and observed the proper request process or the “IT Service
Request Process Map” or the service in Computing Service Center to computerize
the transaction between the employee requester and Computing Service Center
personnel.
The development of the DWCV Computing Service Center Ticketing
Service System employed the Waterfall Model with the subsequent stages:
Requirement Specification, Design, Implementation, Integration, and Testing.
Requirement Specification ensured all the possible requirements, sample
forms and information gathered in order to build the expected result of the system
Design Stage the developers prepared system design such as Data Flow
Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for better understanding of the
relationships.
Implementation Stage the developers make sure that the system is working
according to what the client and developers wanted, and ensured the security,
maintenance, and errors that possible to come up is reviewed and solved.
Integration Stage the errors and faults will arise this is what we call post-
integration. The developers make sure that before final testing all the errors are
eliminated.

DIVINE WORD COLLEGE OF VIGAN

Testing Stage the developers conducted an evaluation tool in order utilize

the system’s effectiveness and efficient to use.

In the beta testing, the developers used an evaluation tool with the rating of
highest of five (5) and lowest of one (1). The beta-testers gave comments about the
developed system.

It was then recommended that the Computing Services Center should

employ the system to observe the proper way of accepting and providing request,
provide faster notification to the employee requester by SMS message from the
Computing Service Center, and faster communication between the Head and
Technician in assigning and requesting needed materials, and avoid loss of records.
