NOTICE
FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE AND EKISTICS, JMI
List of Selected Candidates for Admission to
M60: M.ARCH. & M. Ekistics - Session 2017-2018

The following candidates have been provisionally selected for admission in M60: M.ARCH. & M. EKISTICS.

Admission will be granted subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility requirement.

• Admission formalities are to be completed by selected candidates between 24.07.2017 to 28.07.2017 in the
Office of the Head, Department of Architecture, and 1M!.
• At the time of admission, selected candidates will have to submit the originals of the following along with a
self attested photocopy of the same.

I. Candidates should bring the downloaded Admit Card and Registration form and 6 recent passport size
photographs at the time of admission.
2. Proof of passing the qualifying examination, together with the original marks sheet, in accordance with the
eligibility requirements for admission as mentioned in Prospectus.
3. Proof of age based on the certificate of High School/Secondary School or an equivalent examination.
4. Proof of permanent address (Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License etc.) as declared in the application'
form with the name of the Police St~tiQn and !h~Q~!rh::L ...00

5. Proof of entitlement for a particular reserved category issued by the competent authority.
6. For candidates who have applied in PWD category, certificate for disability is required from a government
certified authority.
7. Candidates seeking admission under "Kashmiri Migrants' Category will be required to submit a certificate
in support of their ch'lim of being Kashmiri Migrants obtained from the registered Divisional
Commissioner, of the concerned State/Union Territory.
8. Candidates seeking admission under 'Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir' Category will'be required to
submit a state domicile certificate in support of their claim of being from Jammu and Kashmir.
9. Character Certificate from the institution last attended.
10. Certificate from an MBBS doctor or a government hospital certifying blood group.
II. In case an intervening/gap period is involved, the candidate has to submit a certificate/affidavit from Class-
I Gazette Officer/Notary Public for the entire intervening/gap period showing year wise preoccupation and
non-indulgence in any criminal activities after leaving the institution last attended.
12. Affidavit for not indulging in ragging activities per prescribed Performa.
13. A candidate whose result of the qualifying examination B. Arch. has not been declared, may be considered
for provisional admission subject to:
• Submission of a certificate issued by the concerned College/University to the effect that he/she has
appeared in the final semester/year of the concerned qualifying examination.
• Verification of transcripts/marks sheets for the period preceding the final semester/year of the
qualifying examination to establish the minimum eligibility requirements of the programme.
(On the basis of the results of the candidate declared so far.)
• Submission of the result of the qualifying examination for verification in the Department of
Architecture latest by September 15, 2017
