Demeterio-Diego 1. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with the agrarian laws and all other laws, rules, orders and issuances related thereto. It tackles the evolution of agrarian laws which, presently, focuses on agrarian reform. Other social legislations which are also included in this study are the Social Security Act, GSIS Act, Limited Portability Law, The Solo Parents’ Welfare Act, Paternity Leave Act, Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act and Domestic Workers Act or Kasambahay Law. ll, COURSE OBJECTIVES: To provide the students with fundamental knowledge of the Philippine Agrarian laws and other social legislations; To enable students to understand the importance of social legistations; To know the Supreme Court decisions on cases involving agrarian laws and other social legislations; 4.
