1 optiClient Attendant V8.0

One of the most important places in your enterprise is the telephone switchboard. It is the piv-
otal point for communication with customers and callers. Such a vital function within your en-
terprise deserves the right kind of support. optiClient Attendant V8.0 offers this kind of support.
The software provides a call attendant with all call-processing functions as well as an informa-
tion and management system. With a call attendant, the switching, redial and intercept func-
tions are supported locally in the system or in the network.
The optiClient Attendant is a PC-based call attendant (PC VPL) for HiPath 3000/5000 that can
be deployed up to six times per system.
The optiClient Attendant can also be operated as a central call attendant in a HiPath 3000/5000
network.
The new version 8.0 replaces all connection variants of the previous optiClient Attendant V7.0
(V.24, USB and TCP/IP).
For the IP Workpoint wich is used for the optiClient Attendant V8.0, a fixed IP address must be
configured on the optiPoint 410/420 or Openstage!
