Cable
3M Copper Cable is available in types ranging from Cat. 3 to
Cat. 7, making it easy to use in any application. It’s provided in
various fire ratings. The construction of the 4-pair copper wire meets
high-performance specifications and has length markings along the
cable sheath, enabling you to keep track of your cable lengths. The
cable is shipped in lengths of 500 m or 1000 m.

Connecting, repairing or extending fiber doesn’t have to be time-
consuming or cost prohibitive. Precision connectors from 3M enable
fast, field installations without the use of power tools. With limited
training, your team can address connections quickly and efficiently.

3M™ Crimplok™+ Connectors and 3M™ No Polish Connectors are

some of our most popular products, providing on-site terminations
of singlemode and multimode fiber, as well as jacketed cable. The
3M™ Easy Cleaver comes packaged with select connectors. It performs
120 cleaves using a diamond-wire cleaving mechanism which requires
virtually no maintenance. There are connector types that work with
250 µm fiber, 900 µm fiber and jacketed cable up to 3.0 mm.

Field-proven 3M™ Fibrlok™ splices are ideal for restoration and

permanent splice applications. Their metallic splicing element and
molded plastic body with cap enable fast splicing in the field. The
3M™ Fibrlok™ II Universal Optical Splice can splice any combination
of 250 µm and 900 µm fiber.
