1 Introduction
Different types of current transformer modules are applicable for different purposes by the
Europrot+ platform.
CT/5151 module can be used for general protection purposes.
CT/1500 is recommended for measuring purpose in low current interval.
CT/5101 and CT/5102 have the same 1.-3. channels as CT/5151, and a 4. channel with
higher accuracy. For the 4. channel can be set 0.2A as rated current too. Lower residual
currents can be measured via this channel. The difference of these two types is that CT/5101
module has a more sensitive 4. channel than CT/5102. The 0.2A rated secondary current
parameter value means that the set current parameters in the residual overcurrent functions
concern 5 times lower values if the rated secondary value of the primary CT is 1A.
The next chapters summarize the accuracy of the current transformer modules.
