My Training Need Analysis 2018-19

According to my academic interest and institutional responsibility, I would prefer to obtain Training
during 2018-19 as per following:

I have submitted my Ph.D. thesis entitled "Analytic Properties of Various Arithmetical

Functions and Their Generalizations" to Bhavnagar University on 13/07/2016. Being firm
believer of the quote "Mathematics is the queen of science, and Arithmetic the queen of

Inspired by the Great Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan (the Man who knew
Infinity) many have chosen the Number Theory path and I am one of them. Although

Priority 2 INTER DISCIPLINE Data Mining Apr-2018 TO Jul-2018

Recently, I guided one student in data mining project entitled "Data Mining Algorithms".
Justify, Why you required this My keen interest in Statistics & Programming leads me to Data Mining. I feel that I need
training? to explore data mining in more depth.

Justify, How will you use outcome The training will improve my theoretical foundation and practical/application knowledge
of the training in the concerned subject which will be reflected in my teaching & student's performance.

Priority 3 Maths Computation Apr-2018 TO Jul-2018

Apart from Mathematics, I have an inclination towards Computer Science also.

Justify, Why you required this Computation is the field which integrates both of them in a nice manner. Also, I am
training? teaching Numerical and Statistical Methods for Computer Engineering since its
introduction in GTU. So I feel that I should explore this area more.

Justify, How will you use outcome The training will improve my theoretical foundation and practical/application knowledge
of the training in the concerned subject which will be reflected in my teaching & student's performance.

Tentative month For the training suggested above, I will attend to the training as per my TNA from Training Calender
at least prior to one month.
