primary source. It is a firsthand account of Anna Buchan about her experiences with

new cooking and foods in India. It helped me find a good comparison between a real

dish and an adaption of it in a country far away from the country of origin of that

dish.

primary source, because it is an interview. It is an interview of a Harvard biological

anthropologist about the evolution of humans and its relation to cooking. This helps

me understand why humans evolved from almost wild animals to the people we are

today, with the help of the evolution of cooking.

me understand how, why, and when people changed their diets.

advice. It explains what eating raw meat does to your body, and why it's okay for

sushi to contain raw fish. It helped me understand why cooking meat is important.

ending in the 1990s. It helped me understand how the first humans began to
