office and in the field.

Intern, Save Barnegat Bay’s Stewards Program 2016
● Helped inform other clubs in multiple counties about certain projects the clubs could participate in to improve the quality of
Barnegat Bay.

● Helped Professor Witt and the senior project students monitor and install wells on campus.
● 5 hour OSHA Lab Standard Training, Hazardous Waste Training (DOT and OSHA GHS Labels).
Water Quality Team member, Save Barnegat Bay’s Student Grant Program May-Aug. 2016
● Sampled and tested levels of iron, nitrates, fecal coliform and turbidity in Barnegat Bay’s water along Seaside Park’s storm drains.
● Our team used certain equipment such as YSI-85 meter and ph meters on site.
● At the end of the program, the team and I did a final presentation, a research paper and research poster.
Field assistant, NJDEP Barnegat Bay Ambient Water Quality Monitoring Program June-Aug 2016
● Worked with Professor John Wnek testing water quality at two different sites.
● After collecting data using the pH and YSI-85 meters, the samples were brought to the Bureau of Marine Water Monitoring Lab.
Research assistant, Project Terrapin June-Aug 2016
● Worked with Professor John Wnek, tagging and marking diamondback terrapin turtles in the Barnegat Bay area.
● Helped monitor the terrapins nests.
