Session 1
20 minutes Occupations and professions:
_ Make one lottery board for Write on the board the topic: Professions and Occupations. Then write the question: What kind of people – teacher

driver and veterinarian. Write the words on the board. Say the words out loud while you show the pictures – dentist
for a second time. Repeat the activity with image 2. – architect

Show the pictures and make students work on choral repetition. Provide some pictures to some students – firefighter
and ask them to put up the pictures as you mention them. Repeat the activity with other students. Ask – police officer
students to deliver the pictures back to you and say them out loud at the time they give them to you. – farmer
– carpenter
30 minutes – chef
Provide images 1 and 2 to each student. Ask them to cut out the pictures. Provide template 1 and ask – mechanic
students to paste the pictures on the template (make sure they have different combinations of pictures). – driver
They can color the pictures if they have enough time or do it for homework. – veterinarian
Have students write their names on the back of the template and pick them up to use them in another
session.
Write the sentences on the board and make students work on choral repetition.
Note: Instead of worksheet 2, you can draw the pictures and write the words on the board.
20 minutes
Provide worksheet 3 and ask students to match the jobs with the pictures. Provide worksheet 4 or write it on
the board and ask students to cut out the names of professions or occupations and match them with the
corresponding description. Read the jobs descriptions out loud and make students read out loud along with
you.
10 minutes
Ask students to paste the worksheets in their notebooks.
Session 6
15 minutes
Make teams of four to work on a review. Enter to the following *link https://goo.gl/2yPz2E in which you will
find a quiz game related to jobs. Motivate teams to answer the questions.
*Note: You can write the questions on a flipchart paper and cover the answers.
15 minutes
Write previously the word search puzzle of worksheet 5 on a flipchart. Place the flipchart on the board. Ask
volunteers to go to the board and circle the words about occupations and professions they find; make
students say the words out loud. Guide them if necessary.
