Poison Gas
Poison Gas first started being used in 1915 by

After some time, soldiers were given gas masks
to protect them from breathing in the gases. This Sarah Berardelli

attack their opponent and caused injures to more
people.

Zeppelins
Zeppelins were first used by the Germans in
1915. They were large gas-filled balloons that
caused explosions. Germany used this weapon
to bomb the English coast. It improved wars by
killing more people.
 U-Boats
U-boats were first used by Germany in 1914. They
were submarines that roamed the Atlantic Ocean
during World War I. They were also able to carry
supplies to other countries like Britain. These
submarines were able to launch torpedoes or guide
underwater bombs. revolutionized warfare by
allowing people to stay safe by being under water
instead of in the air.
Convoys
Convoys were used by the Australian and New
Zealand Army Corps in 1914. A convoy is a group of
ships that sailed together for protection. This helped
larger groups of people get to their destination more
safe from enemies.
Automatic Machine Gun
The automatic machine gun was first used by the
British in 1915. This machine was a portable gun
that was able to sustain rapid fire. The machine
gun was an advancement in warfare because it
was able to kill more enemies in a shorter amount
of time from its rapid fire.
Airplane
The first airplane in WWI was used by the Germans
in 1915. These airplanes were one or two seated
propeller planes that were once used for
observation, but later used to travel acres. Also,
these airplanes were loaded with machine guns for
protection from attackers. They were an
advancement in warfare because they allowed
people to be above their enemies and see were the
enemies troops locate.
