Job Summary Function acts as an analytical expert to the strategy and innovation areas.
(Main Specifically, the person in this role will:

Context analysis:
• Lead the build-up of industry projections for the beverage industry
(NARTD) for the Business Unit across all 31 countries
o Volume projections
o Revenue and profit projections
o Alignment on projections with key suppliers (Canadean)

• Gather and organize key information and insights through diverse


sources (e.g., Nielsen, IMF, Industry Publications, Internet, marketplace
information, etc.).

• Develop patterns and interconnectivity of relevant data to project


industry, competitive, economic trends (among others) that allows to
identify opportunities

Strategy:
• Support the development of analytical growth models with scenario
planning using cross variable analysis (economic indicators, volume,
share, channels, geographies) that serve as a basis for planning
purposes
• Conduct Competitive Intelligence Analysis and serve as a source of
knowledge in this area for the rest of the organization
• Support build-up of BU strategic plans and presentations
(Checkpoint 1 and 2)

Innovation support:
• Support Innovation Director with presentations/analysis related to
innovation process and tracking
• Support portfolio transformational innovation area with ad-hoc
analysis related to innovation opportunities.

Business tracking support:


• Support management routines, processes and dashboards by
providing effective tracking and analysis of industry, share and innovation
metrics

Individual is exposed to the analysis of information


of the entire Latin Center Business Unit:
• Volume (1MM uc)
• PBT: $305MM
• 31 markets
• 32 bottling groups
• All beverage categories across all
countries

Relationship
The position requires periodic contact with divisional top management,
including Division President, functional heads and FU managers.

Individual is in constant interaction with Strategy and Innovation Directors to


conduct analysis and support build-up of business cases.

It also requires interaction with Research group and research suppliers (ie,
Canadean), other strategic planning groups including corporate strategic
planning group.

Individual is also in contact with key external sources of information that


allows to have a better understanding of context (ie economic consultants,
etc)

Travel Yes, 20% of time


Requirements

Education MBA
Fluent in speaking, reading, understanding and writing both Spanish and
English.

Experience At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a consulting firm (McKenzie, Booz


Allen, etc) or corporate business doing business analytics and supporting
strategy
