KANKER PAYUDARA MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RSUD ULIN

INTISARI

Latar Belakang: Tingkat angka kejadian kanker di Kalimantan Selatan

menduduki posisi ke-22 di Indonesia pada tahun 2013 dengan estimasi jumlah
penderita penyakit kanker pada penduduk semua kategori usia 1,6% dengan
jumlah absolute 6.145 kasus. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan ditemukan
tingginya angka kemoterapi kanker payudara dari bulan Januari-April 2017
sebanyak 442 kunjungan. Panjangnya proses pengobatan kemoterapi membuat
rasa jenuh terhadap pasien apalagi efek samping dari kemoterapi yang begitu
terlihat dengan jelas pada kondisi pasien.
Tujuan Penelitian: mengeksplorasi peran pasangan serta memperoleh informasi
yang mendalam mengenai pengalaman suami mendampingi istri dengan pasien
kanker payudara menjalani kemoterapi
Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif,dengan
pendekatan fenomenologi, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling terhadap 5
partisipan. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi, serta
dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi.
Hasil: Rata-rata pasangan penderita kanker payudara menyatakan bahwa mereka
bingung, cemas, marah, serta mengalami gangguan pola tidur saat istri mereka
terdiagnosa kanker dan harus menjalani kemoterapi. Keinginan pasangan yang
besar untuk kesembuhan istri memunculkan dorongan yang penuh secara
internal maupun eksternal. Namun adapula terdapat hambatan dalam menjalani
kemoterapi dari segi faktor ekonomi, sosial, psikologis istri.
Kesimpulan: Pengalaman partisipan berbeda satu dengan yang lainnya, hal ini
tergantung pada tekanan emosi dan kondisi fisik yang dialami oleh partisipan,
motivasi pasangan sangat dibutuhkan oleh penderita kanker payudara untuk
menghadapai faktor-faktor yang menghambat dalam jalannya kemoterapi. Semua
partisipan bersifat aladatif dan berharap agar tidak ada tambahan protokol
kemoterapi dan sembuh dari penyakit yang dideritanya.

In the ACCOMPANYING HUSBAND-WIFE EXPERIENCES with BREAST
CANCER UNDERGOING CHEMOTHERAPY at the PROVINCIAL
HOSPITAL ULIN BANJARMASIN 2017

ABSTRACT

Background: The incidence rate of cancer in South Kalimantan's 22nd positions in

Indonesia in the year 2013 with estimated number of sufferers of the disease of
cancer in the population of all age categories 1.6% with the number of absolute
6,145 cases. Based on the results of a preliminary study found high numbers of
breast cancer chemotherapy from January-April 2017 as much as 442 visits. Length
of the treatment process of chemotherapy against patients saturated flavor makes
much less side effects of chemotherapy that is so clearly visible on the condition of
the patient.
Objective : Explore the role of the couple as well as in-depth information about
the experience of accompanying husband wife with breast cancer patients
undergoing chemotherapy
Method : Qualitative research using Research Methods, with the phenomenology
of approach, using a purposive sampling techniques against 5 participants. Data
collected by deep observation and interviews, and analyzed using content analysis.
Results: The average breast cancer survivor spouse stating that they are confused,
anxious, angry, and disrupted sleep patterns when their wives diagnosed cancer
and had to undergo chemotherapy. A great couples desire to cure his wife brings
out the full boost internally or externally. But there there are obstacles in
undergoing chemotherapy in terms of economic factors, social, psychological
wife
Conclusion: The experience of the different participants to each other, it depends
on the physical condition of the emotion and pressure experienced by the
participants, the motivation of much needed couples by breast cancer survivors for
he factors that hamper in the course of chemotherapy. All participants are aladatif
and hope that no additional protocol of chemotherapy and recovering from the
illness he suffered.
