The following candidates sat supplementary examinations and failed subjects

indicated against their names. They have been allowed to repeat the failed subject(s)
in the subsequent academic year. This is in accordance with rule 17(6) of the rules
governing passing of the Bar Course, 2016. The candidates should attend remedial
classes.

The following candidates on the 2014/2015 academic year sat and failed some
subject(s) in the supplementary examinations. They petitioned Management
Committee to allow them repeat failed subject(s) in the academic year 2016/2017.
The Management Committee allowed the petition. The candidates repeated the
subjects in the 2016/2017 academic year, sat examinations and still failed some
subjects. They were allowed to sit supplementary examinations. The candidates
failed some subjects in the supplementary examinations as indicated against their
names. The Board decided that they failed the course in accordance with rules 14(4)
governing the passing of the Bar course, 2016. The candidates have also been caught
up by the three year rule (rule 18(1)) of the rules governing passing of the Bar
course, 2016. The candidates are hereby discontinued from the course. However,
they may apply to repeat the Bar Course subject to fulfilling Law Council pre-entry
requirements.
