Firstly I am very thankful and obliged to my GOD. GOD blessing me a lot and
give me the strength, hope and cool calm temperament that keep me alive my
thinking and my motivation to complete the project in a very short and tight
period of time. Without my ALLAH blessing it is not possible for me to
complete this project in time. I am very thankful to my ALLAH.
 Executive Summary
I have got chance to enhance my abilities as a student to deeply analyze and understand the finance
and its proceedings. This project means a lot to me. As we now this is the age where finance matters
more than anything else without finance there is nothing value of anything and nothing is possible
without finance.
I have selected banking companies to proceed my project ahead. When we read history of
banks we come to know that it has started many hundred years ago. Basically it was started as
exchange of things and commodities and as time passed it has wider its strength and scope.
In our country Pakistan banks are considered more profitable institutions. Many banks
started their work before separation of this country. Before this almost every year research have
been made on banks and many people’s help these institutes to improve their performance.
In this project I will try to understand and explain the importance of finance and financial ratios.
Importance of capital to run and for success of banks.
Analyze the financial statements and other important financial documents of the selected banks to
interpret ratios of the business.
Three selected banks will be compared with each other and suggestion will be made about
weaknesses and for more improvements.
