CASUAL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

This employment agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into and

executed on 15TH of January 2018 at Iloilo City, by and between the following:

REED ELSEVIER PHILIPPINES INC., a corporation duly organized

and existing under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with
principal place of business at 3rd Floor Richmonde Hotel, Iloilo
Business Park, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippines as represented
herein by its Human Resource Manager, RIO ESPADA, hereinafter
referred to as the “Employer”;

- and -

MARY GRACE SEVILLENO, Filipino Citizen, of legal age, with

address at Brgy. Bolilao, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippines,
hereinafter referred to as the “Employee”;

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, the Employer is a leading global provider of professional

information solutions in the science, medical, legal, risk management and
business sectors. We help scientists make new discoveries, lawyers win cases,
doctors save lives, corporations build commercial relationships, insurance
companies assess risk, and government and financial institutions detect fraud.;

WHEREAS, the Employee guarantees, declares, and warrants that s/he

has the necessary qualifications and is competent for the said position, as well
as expressly acknowledges and consents to this casual employment
arrangement;

WHEREAS, due to the above representations, the Employer offers the

Employee the above-mentioned position as a Accounts Payable Specialist;

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the

parties hereby agree as follows:

 Employment Period– The employment commences on 10th of February 2018
until project completion and/or otherwise pre-terminated by the client,
provided that the following pre-employment requirements have been
accomplished and submitted prior to the 1st day of work: Birth Certificate, a
photocopy of receipt of application for NSO Birth Certificate, Transcript of
Records/ Diploma NBI Clearance, SSS, Pag-IBIG, Philhealth, and BIR forms.

1. . Unless otherwise directed, the ordinary working hours shall be from

6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a one-hour meal break. The ordinary
workdays shall be from Monday to Saturday except as otherwise
instructed.
2. Compensation – The Employee’s gross compensation is Php 25,000.00
per month. After deductions, the net income shall be payable on the
15th and 30th of the month.

 Duties and Responsibilities– The Employee hereby consents to be

assigned primarily the following duties and responsibilities: Produce
records, bookkeeping and financial transactions that will be used by
accountants and auditors at tax time. Accounts payable specialists
record transactions, create reports, track income and expenses and
check figures for accuracy. She will be working with computers and
accounting and record-keeping software to make sure their data is
tracked for tax purposes.

3. Monetary Benefits and Leaves– Unless otherwise provided in the

company policies, statutory monetary benefits and leaves will be
provided to the Employee whenever due and proper.

4. Violations and Disciplinary Actions– Except as otherwise modified in

the company policies, labor law grounds for disciplinary action,
including termination, is hereby adopted and incorporated by
reference.

5. Taxes, Government Contributions, Authority to Deduct – The

Employee hereby agrees to deductions authorized by law, including but
not limited to, withholding tax, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-IBIG, debts owing
to the Employer, and all other analogous deductions.

 6. Company Policies – The Employee hereby agrees and consents to the
terms and conditions stated in company policies, which are
incorporated herein by reference and made an integral part hereof.

7. Entirety of Agreement – The parties hereby agree that this Agreement

and those which are incorporated herein by reference constitute the
entire employment contract and supersedes all prior arrangements,
whether verbal or written. The parties expressly agree that this project-
employment contract is separate, independent, and not connected to
any other arrangement for previous projects, to which the Employee
hereby declares that all monetary claims have been paid.

In witness whereof, the parties have signed this agreement on the above
date.
