First Quarter 2009 Social Weather Survey:
Noli De Castro, Manny Villar, Loren Legarda, and now
Chiz Escudero are the people's top recommendees for 2010
Social Weather Stations

Vice-President Noli De Castro, Senator Manny Villar, Compared to December 2008, the mentions rose for
Senator Loren Legarda, and now Senator Francis Sen. Roxas by 5 points, for Sen. Escudero by 4 points,
Escudero are the people's top recommended for Sen. Santiago by 3 points, and for former
successors to President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in President Estrada by 2 points.
2010, according to the First Quarter 2009 Social
Weather Survey, fielded over February 20-23, 2009. The question wording has been exactly the same in
the past six quarterly surveys shown in Table 1.
The survey question asked was, "Sa ilalim ng

The First Quarter of 2009 Social Weather Survey was
conducted over February 20-23, 2009 using face-to-face

Answer:
Quantitative Variables. Ordinal Level of Measurement.

Answer:
Yes, the article does define the population through the percentage of the
number of people who answered to that question the best leader to succeed Pres.
Arroyo in 2010.

Answer:
Yes, it did state the sample size and how it was obtained, it was obtained
through random sampling method.

used to determine the study’s conclusions.
Answer:
Personal interview survey, because it is a face-to-face interview wherein you
may be able to predict whether that person is saying what he really thinks on that
particular subject that is being surveyed.
f. Do you agree or disagree with the conclusions? State your reasons.
Answer:
Yes, because the conclusion is derived from the survey conducted by the Social
Weather Stations that is based on the opinions of the respondents.
