Fill this out for each solution and then put info on poster

What is your problem (at least 2 paragraph)? More detail the better

The problem we are trying to solve is the heavy problem of global

warming. The problem is that the earth temperature is raising at a high rate
because greenhouse gases are being released into the the earth's atmosphere
and being reflected back down. Global warming by definitions means a
gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere
generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of
carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. Global warming or
also known as climate change has and will have very harmful effects on our
earth.

Climate change can affect our earth in a series of ways. Animals has a
worse effect on it than humans. Climate change will and has destroyed animal
habitats. For example polar bears, they live on ice. When climate change heats
up earth's surface the ice melts. Therefore destroying the habitats of the polar
bears. With climate change the sea levels rise as well. Along with rising sea
levels the temperature of the sea levels rise as well. The rising temperature in
seas is killing animals and destroying animals habitats at a high rate.

Current limitations, why has it not been solved already?

The one simple limitation is that it is incredibly difficult to create a
solution. The amount of effort, money, and time it will take to stop climate
change is outrageous. Since our climate is growing at such a high rate it is very
difficult to stop. There have been a lot of attempts but the reality is… climate
change is still growing.
Proposed solution. More detail the better
Our proposed solution is that we will genetically modified
microorganisms to act as trees. For example we can modify bacteria to intake
carbon dioxide and release oxygen. This will help the problem of climate
change because it will be an alternative to trees. When trees get cut down a
mass amount of carbon goes into the atmosphere, therefore with genetically
modified organisms not as much of carbon will be released.

Mentor, why did you choose them, their credentials and contact info.
The menor I choose for this project was the harvard scientist. His name is
Daniel G. Nocera. He works at harvard and he has attempted a solution similar
to mine. By researching about him i found that our solution is a lot similar to
his. He is a professor of energy at harvard university.
