● What can be the cause for Antisocial Personality Disorder
Summary:
Cause of antisocial personality disorder is unknown. Genetic factors and environmental factors,
such as child abuse, are believed to contribute to the development of this condition. People with an
antisocial or alcoholic parent are at increased risk. Far more men than women are affected. The condition
is common among people who are in prison.
Analysis and Opinion:
I started to feel bad for people with APD now, they must have gone through terrible things
through childhood and they just want to relief their suffering. There’s 2 side to every coin.

● How can I applied what I learned about the cause of Antisocial Personality Disorder?
Summary:
I decided that the backstory for the girl with APD would be child abuse as a kid and that she just
want to relieve her suffering.
Analysis and Opinion:
I give a sad backstory to the girl, so that the reader can understand why she did what she did, so
that they can feel for her.

Question:
What’s the treatment for Antisocial Personality Disorder?
Summary:
Though antisocial personality disorder is difficult to treat, for some people, treatment and close
follow-up over the long term may be beneficial. Look for medical and mental health professionals with
experience in treating antisocial personality disorder.

Treatment depends on each person's particular situation, their willingness to participate in

treatment and the severity of symptoms.
Analysis and Opinion:
The treatment for APD is more simple than I thought, but the difficulty of the treatment greatly
depend on the patient’s severity of the APD.

 ● How can I applied what I learned about the the therapy for APD?
Summary:
● I decided that the treatment for the girl should be behavioural therapy. The new dad will use
punishment and reinforcement to cure the girl.
Analysis and Opinion:
● I decided to go with the punishment and reinforcement method because it’s easy to understand
for the reader and it’s also a real treatment for APD.

Question:
I need to come up with a reason for the mother to keep the rapist’s child, so what’s the common
reason for a rape victim to keep a child? I need to understand the mind of these people.
Summary:
Pro-choice argument:
It's cruel to force a woman to carry a pregnancy which was the result of rape.
Pro-life answer:
#1. The Supreme Court has said that the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment for
rapists and that rapists don’t deserve the death penalty. I don’t think the innocent child conceived in rape
deserves the death penalty for the crimes of her father. It seems to me that is cruel and unusual
punishment.
#2. Rape victims are 4 times more likely to die within the next year after the abortion, with a
higher rate of suicide, murder, drug overdose, etc.. As someone who really cares about rape victims, I
want to protect them from the rapist, and from the abortion. A baby is not the worst thing that could ever
happen to a rape victim — an abortion is. We need to educate the public on the truth in this matter and
not make public policy based on myth and misinformation.
#3. Rape victims choose abortion at half the rate of the average unplanned pregnancy, which is
over 50%. Only 15-25% of rape victims choose abortion, depending on the study. The majority of rape
victims choose to raise her child — not “the rapist’s baby” — HER child.
Analysis and Opinion:
● There are more reason for rape victims to not get an abortion than I think. I sort of understand the
minds behind the victims when they decided to keep the child now.

Question:
● How can I applied what I learnt last lesson to the story?
Summary:
I made the girl’s mother was in a position to get an abortion but decided not too before, so the
pregnant girl wouldn’t want to killed her child even though it was from a rapist. She decided to raise her as
her child.
Analysis and Opinion:
In order for the bad events that would happen later to happen, I need a reason for it. It was hard
for me to write, but I managed to write it.

Self Reflection​:
I believe that in this project, I successfully implemented APD and its treatment to the story. I even
added character motivation for each of the character in the story, for example; the first step dad was
grieving for his wife, the mother knows that her mother could have taken an abortion, but didn’t and that’s
why she’s still here today, the little girl was abused, since she was a kid. It took me quite sometime to
figure each character’s motivation out, but I think that I did pretty well. I believe that my strength as a
learner is innovative thinker. I think a lot even though sometime I don’t say them out, but when I’m bored
or alone I think about lots of things. What lead me to come up with this story is probably thanks to that.

I think that my failure in this project is that sometimes I failed to manage my time properly and
spent too much time on doing something. For example most of the time I spent on this project was
dedicated to coming up with backstory and that cause the time to do other things to decrease. My another
mistake is that, I left Jew too much freedom. I wrote all the script and dialogs ready for the project for Jew
to draw, but he cut lots of scene out to save time and when we let Ms. Kate check it, lots of information
was missing, so he got to redraw some page which wasted our time.

From my mistake, I learnt that I’m a terrible time manager and that I can’t let Jew do as he please
too much. Next time that I work with Jew, I would need to put more eyes on him, so that he doesn’t cut so
many scene out to save time. I also need to emphasized more to Jew even though most of the time he
doesn’t care and forget it right away. I need to keep pushing him and be a more articulate communicator,
so that we can communicate better. Not only that, I need to manage my time a bit better when doing this
project because at the start, I left Jew with nothing to do because there was no story for him to draw yet
.
I learnt that I’m terrible at managing time and that I let my groupmate too much freedom because
of the aforementioned reason. I also learnt that I do feel bad for the criminal a bit now because lots of
them must have reason behind why they were acting that way, maybe an abused from parents. I believed
that I became a more morally intelligent person as I do this project because of that.
