Re: Additional Boxes

Dear Sir:

I, the undersigned, as authorized representative of KIRK INDUSTRIES, LTD., and Vice-

President of the same and pursuant to our verbal agreement do hereby propose the following:

1. FIFTY THOUSAND (P50,000) PESOS will be paid for the two boxes in your
possession more specifically Boxes Nos. C 30184421 A, and C 33377261 A with
P.D. Nos. 35-65 and 31-61 respectively, for which, safekeeping receipts will be
issued for them;

2. The said boxes will be taken from your possession on the 7 th of August and will be
returned to you on the same day by Atty. Puchio;

3. By next week, same Atty. Puchio will pick the same boxes from you for
authentication purposes to be done in Manila;

4. If the said boxes are found to be authentic, Atty. Puchi will fly the said boxes to
Hong Kong for payment and turn over of the said boxes to the proper authorities;

5. Your money will then be transferred from Hong Kong to your account as per your
previous instructions, any change as to these matters must be done in writing;

6. This document serves as an agreement between you and our company.

If the foregoing merits your approval, kindly affix your conformity in the space provided
herein below and return a copy to us for our file.

In witness thereof, I hereunto set my hand this 6 th day of August 2001, at Cagayan de
Oro City, Philippines.
